Friendly, alert, smart. I love the ease of shopping in a neighborhood pharmacy. As for prices... happily... less or the same as any of those irritating mainstream big guys.

I went to Chelsea Royal Care Pharmacy for the first time, and I am not exaggerating when I say they saved the day.

I have been on a particular medication for several years, and when I recently moved to NYC it became evident it was difficult to find here. I spent all of last week dealing with a different highly rated NYC pharmacy (The modern chemist, a Brooklyn chain), only to have that other pharmacy drop to ball every step of the way - which made me very sick very fast.

I thought it would be another week before I got my medication - but Chelsea Royal Care Pharmacy was able to order my medication and get it in store in under 24 hours! It was wonderful. I immediately asked them to transfer the rest of my medication over. If it wasn't for Chelsea Royal Care I would have been sick in bed indefinitely.

The world, especially New York City, needs more independently owned, family-style businesses like this one. Every time I visit or call, I am reminded of a small-town community where everyone knows each other. The owner is delightful, friendly, and always greets me by name. The prices are beyond competitive -- they are lower than national chains (even after factoring in coupons) without exception. Plus, they deliver day-of at no charge. I recommend Chelsea Royal Care as often & effusively as I can. It is a joy to patronize such a personalized, friendly & loyal institution.

This pharmacy is God sent to this Chelsea community. You will not find the care, kindness and compassion at any other. Alex and his assistants, are fast and already know what you need before reaching the counter. They deliver, and come back if you weren't available the first time. They as well call, and keep you alert of their arrival. They are extremely knowledgable, very fairly priced, and make friendships with their customers. These people are really something this community needed. They bring back this old feeling of when Chelsea was more independent business based. They know their customers and take the time, with each and every one. No pharmacy has yet to compare, they have a consumer in me for life. My boyfriend was referred to this pharmacy a couple of months ago. It's not the closest one, but we would travel twice as far to use them. The entire staff is personable and they all go above and beyond for their customers.

Best pharmacy in NYC, hands down - they'll go above and beyond to accommodate you, unlike the big chains like Duane Reade and CVS. I moved out of the area but used the delivery service for the first time today and received my prescription to the Upper East Side within an hour of calling and requesting delivery. I'll be 100% loyal to this pharmacy no matter where I live in NYC!
